About the Society

Who We Are

Founded in 2025, the Kenya Smart Buildings and Automation Society (KSBS) is a premier professional community headquartered at the Railway Training Institute, Nairobi. Currently under the stewardship of the RTI Mechanical Chapter, we serve as a hub for students, trainees, and industry professionals dedicated to advancing Smart HVAC-R, Building Management Systems (BMS), IoT, and sustainable building technologies. As we continue to scale, we are formalizing our structure by constituting a Board of Directors to provide strategic governance and oversight for our growing membership.
